I am happy to announce that Stillwater will be participating in cross country meets this year for grades K-8.

Practice: Practices are on Mondays (K-8) and Thursdays (K-8). Practice will be from 3:15-4:30 at the school.

 

Meets:  The meets are Tuesdays at 4:00 PM at Cayuse Prairie School.  There are five Tuesday meets at Cayuse and one final meet on May 21st at Kids Sport. Our first meet will be April 16th at Cayuse Prairie School. Stillwater will be hosting the meet on April 30.

 

Races:  All participants must be currently registered in grades K-8, but the races are determined by age not grade.

7 and under – ½ mile

8-9 boys and girls – ½ mile

10-11 boys and girls -  ¾ mile

12 and up boys and girls – 1mile

 

Transportation:  Parents will need to be responsible forgetting their students to and from meets and to pick their students up promptly at 4:30 after practices.  

 

This is a great opportunity for the students to have fun running.
