- PTO Organization
All school parents are member of the PTO. The PTO's primary purpose is to enrich the school program. Host families are not responsible for the 30 volunteer hours, but are encouraged to find a way to participate and become engaged in the school community.
- International students who enroll independent of an exchange agency are expected to provide a host family stipend in the amount of $450 per month. Students enrolled through agencies will pay host family stipends as defined by the agency agreement.
- If a student has a concern or are dissatisfied, they will seek to resolve the issue with the person(s) directly. Students agree to not gossip about teachers, staff, or other school families, but to follow the principle of Matthew 18:15-17.
- The school board reserves the right to ask a student to withdraw from the school, if, in the opinion of the board, the student is unable to support the policies and practices of the school or has lost trust in the school and its leadership.
- SCS admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policy, scholarship and loan programs, athletic and other school-administered program.
- J-1 Exchange students are accepted through agency agreements only.
