*Tuition charges do not cover the cost of education at SCS. As a result, each family, regardless of need, receives tuition assistance from those who support the school with financial donations. Enrolled families will be asked to consider making a tax-deductible donation to the school that replaces the support of others and allows tuition assistance to be applied to those with the greatest need.
Financial FAQ’s
Are there any scholarships or financial aid available? Yes, SCS has a great financial assistance program. About 40% of enrolled families receive direct financial assistance through the school’s endowment. Families who need assistance are encouraged to apply early in the enrollment process as funds are distributed on a first-come first-served basis. Assistance applications are processed by FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment.
Is there a multiple child discount? No, we do not offer discounts for multiple children, however, having multiple children enrolled is considered in the financial assistance process. A family with more than one child enrolled may be more eligible for assistance.
Are there payment options for tuition, or do I have to pay it all at once? Yes, there are options. While a few families pay the full tuition in one payment, most families are on either 10 or 11 month payment plans. We simply take the total tuition bill and divide it by either 10 or 11 payments. Families are able to select a payment due date that fits best with their budgets. You may even make semi-monthly payments if that works best.
When is the first payment due? Payments begin in either July or August depending on the payment plan selected. The first month’s tuition payment is non-refundable.
When I reregister my children do I have to pay registration fees plus tuition in the same month? No, families on the 10 or 11 month plans do not have a March tuition payment, when registration fees are due for the following year. It is easier on the budget this way!
