40 Days of Prayer – Day 12

SCS StudentDevotional Blog

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

Often we go through life stressing over small things, or freaking about what is yet to come, because we do not know what the outcome will be. We often overthink, over exaggerate, and make things seem worse than they actually are when we are stressed, scared, anxious, or feel hopeless. There is something that will surely help and maybe even get rid of this habit, and that is to put faith in the Lord. As long as you have faith, and hope in the Lord, you have no need to stress, and you have nothing to lose. All your worries will go away like wings of an eagle. Be strong, and follow the Lord, and follow his path that he has set for you. Don’t try to change or “fix” the path God has set for you, because it cannot be fixed. Nothing God has ever done needs to be fixed because the way God does things is perfect in every way! Don’t worry about the small things, but rather rejoice in them! Have faith in the Lord, and he will give you courage and strength.
