40 Days of Prayer – Day 9

“and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God.” Philippians 1:28
We must stand firm in the faith. Philippians 1:28 tell us that if we stand firm in our faith and remain steadfast to the Lord during troubling times, our enemies will be defeated. This is encouraging because we know that God is always on our side. In times of trouble when our hope is low, it is encouraging to know that God is right there. As long as we don’t let our faith in him falter, everything will work out. Our enemies should not frighten us. For we are saved, God is on our side. However, God wants some kind of conflict to work out is what will happen. God always does what he sees fit. When reflecting on this verse and the verses around it Christians should always be looking for ways to apply the scripture to their current surroundings. For Students: Accomplishing our studies, behaving well, doing as our teachers ask us to. For ALL members of the SCS community: staying steadfast in the Lord in everything that you do. Having faith, for God will provide, and do not fear ungodly people for God is with you.
