Who We Are

Stillwater Christian School is all about helping young people flourish as they become who God made them to be.
For forty years, we have partnered with parents in providing an excellent, Christ-centered education that prepares students to become servant leaders who respond to God’s
call in their lives.

Our Mission

To equip students with the tools for learning through a Christ-centered education

Our Vision

To develop lifelong learners who discern and apply God's truth as they serve and lead wherever God calls

Stillwater Christian School is a Covenantal School

A covenantal school is a Christian school community formed around a shared commitment to a common confession of faith, mission, and way of life. At Stillwater Christian School, enrollment is based not only on academic readiness, but on a family’s alignment with the school’s biblical convictions and educational vision. We seek families who wholeheartedly agree with our Statement of Faith—not merely those who are willing to consent to it. This shared commitment allows the school and home to work in partnership, providing students with consistent spiritual formation, instruction, and discipleship. In this way, covenantal enrollment fosters clarity, unity, and trust within our school community.

Statement of Faith

We Believe...

We believe that, as a Christian institution and in order to preserve the mission and integrity of our school, we must uphold the following biblical principles in all policies, including employment, student admission and retention, and other institutional decisions, depending on God's gracious help (2 Cor. 6:14-18; Col. 3:17; 1 Pet. 2:9).
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. It is our only infallible rule for faith and practice, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions must be measured (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21).
We believe in one God, creator of the universe, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent, sovereign over all creation, and perfect in holiness, righteousness, justice, mercy, and love (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14).
We believe in the true deity and full humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ-His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, substitutionary and atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory (John 1:1, 14; Phil. 2:5-11; Col. 1:15-20; Heb. 1:3).
We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit, who indwells and regenerates believers, enabling them to live godly lives. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and serves as the guarantee of our inheritance in Christ (John 16:7-14; Eph. 1:13-14; Rom. 8:9-16).
We believe that, due to Adam's sin, all humanity is fallen and in rebellion against God. As a result, man is spiritually dead and incapable of choosing God apart from divine grace (Rom. 3:10-12; Eph. 2:1-3). Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is not based on human works, but on the sovereign and unmerited favor of God (Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 5:1; Titus 3:5-7).
We believe in the redemptive and transformative power of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. Authentically pursuing a relationship with Jesus Christ and being led by the Spirit will result in the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:18-26; Eph. 2:8-10; John 15).
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost-those who are saved unto eternal life and those who are lost unto eternal condemnation (John 5:28-29; Rev. 20:11-15).
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Jesus Christ. The Church, as the body of Christ, is composed of all who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and is called to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20; Eph. 4:4-6; 1 Cor. 12:12-27).
We believe that God has ordained three institutions for the governance of human society: the family, the church, and civil government. Each has been assigned distinct responsibilities under God's authority (Rom. 13:1-7; Eph. 5:22-6:4; Matt. 18:15-17). The family, led by a father and mother, is the foundational institution of society and is responsible for the training and instruction of children in the ways of the Lord (Deut. 6:1-9; Eph. 6:4).
We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death.
We believe that God immutably creates each person as either male or female. These two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect the image and nature of God. Any rejection of one's biological sex is a rejection of God's design and purpose in creation (Gen. 1:26-27; Ps. 139:13-16).

We believe God has ordained marriage as a covenantal, lifelong union between one biological male and one biological female, designed to reflect Christ's relationship with the Church. All sexual activity outside of this biblical marriage-including but not limited to unmarried cohabitation, pornography, adultery, heterosexual, homosexual, or otherwise-is sinful and contrary to God's will (Gen. 2:18-25; Eph. 5:22-33; Matt. 19:4-6; 1 Cor. 6:9-10, 15-20; Matt. 15:18-20; Rom. 1:18-32; 1 Thess. 4:3-5). Every person must be treated with love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Hateful or harassing behavior is not in accord with Scripture or the character of Christ. While upholding biblical truth, we seek to embody the grace and compassion of Jesus in our interactions with all people (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31; 1 Cor. 13:4-7).
