• Admissions
  • Thank you for your interest in Stillwater Christian School. Investing in your children's education is one of the most important decisions you will make in your lifetime and one that requires great thought.  We hope you will find our admissions process simple and easy to understand.  SCS seeks students and families who believe in the school’s mission and desire to partner with us to develop lifelong learners who can discern and apply God’s truth as they serve and lead wherever God calls.  We value the opportunity to work with families and students to this end and thus consider our school’s unique mission, vision, and statement of faith when making admissions decisions.  We look forward to getting to know your family and your child as you explore whether Stillwater is the right fit for you.
    Stillwater Christian's Steps for Admission:
    • Learn about our school! Schedule a time to visit our beautiful campus. I look forward to sharing the strengths of SCS and learning about the needs of your family.

    • Application Process: To apply, please submit ALL the following materials:

                  o   New Family Application
o   Student Application (one for each student to be enrolled)
(Kindergarten students must be five years of age on or before September 10, 2020, to apply for enrollment)

o   Student Commitment Form (grades 6-12)
o   Continuous Enrollment Contract(one for each student enrolled in K - 12th grade)
o   Request for Transfer of Records
                  o   Pastor's Reference
                  o   $50 non-refundable Application Fee

    • Assessment: Once the above items are submitted, I will schedule a student assessment. Conducted at SCS, this will help us understand your child's academic strengths and needs.
    • Interview and Acceptance: Following the student assessment, parents (as well as students in middle and high school grades) will be required to attend a new family interview. This meeting allows parents to meet with our Head of School and provides valuable information about SCS. Parents of young students are asked to attend this meeting without children, in order to fully focus during the interview. Please let me know if you are new to the area and this is difficult for you.  Parents will be notified of final acceptance after this interview is complete.

    • Registration and Enrollment: Students will be enrolled only after completing the following process:

o   Payment of the $350 registration fee
o   Providing a copy of your child's immunization record
o   Establishing an online tuition payment account (we will explain this procedure to you)

Lastly, if you are seeking financial assistance, we encourage you to apply to our variable tuition program, and I am happy to walk you through this process. Please feel free to contact me with further questions. Again, thank you for considering Stillwater Christian School!
    Warmest blessings,
    Renee Wynne,
    Director of Admissions
