    Welcome...
Welcome to Music Theory, History, & Literature.  Whether you are a campus-based student taking this course at Stillwater Christian School, or an online student taking this course at home, you can access all of your course content from here!

    Before you begin...
Before you begin this course, make sure that you have thoroughly read the class syllabus and that you have access to the course textbook.  The textbook is available for purchase in hardcover or as an ebook.  It is also now available for Kindle here and from the ibookstore here.  All supplemental reading, videos, music listening examples, lectures, course assignments, and study guides are accessible directly from this webpage.

A special note for online students...
In order for you to keep pace with your campus-based classmates, it is very important that you take special care to observe the due-dates of each assignment.  You may submit your assignments for grading by physically bringing them to Stillwater Christian School, by mailing them in a physical envelope, or by scanning them and submitting them electronically as PDF files.  If you choose to submit your assignments electronically, please send them directly to the instructor at mhunter@scscougars.org.  However you choose to submit your assignments, remember that they must be received before midnight on the date they are due.  All assignments with the same numeric designation (1, 2, 3, etc.) are due at the same time.  For example, all worksheets designated with the number "1" (1a, 1b, 1c, etc.) are due at the same time.  For your convenience, the worksheet numbers, lecture numbers, and textbook chapter numbers all correspond.  For example, all of the lectures numbered "1" (1a, 1b, 1c, etc.) cover the material in Chapter 1 of the textbook and the material covered in all of the worksheets marked as "1" (1a, 1b, 1c, etc.).

As with our campus-based students, you are always welcome to contact me at any time with questions or problems.  If you are a local student, I would be glad to meet with you personally to help you navigate this demanding course.
