Education: B.S in Elementary Education and Bible from Columbia International University; Ed in Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University

Hometown: Born in Apple Valley, CA, but as an Air-Force kid, I moved around a lot. My hometown is whichever town my wife and kids are in!

Hobbies: Hunting, fishing, hiking, backpacking – anything in wild places; auto mechanics – as long as it is for fun and not necessity; gardening; and doing all of these things with my wife and kids.

Favorite spot on campus: High school conference room

Fun fact: Kalispell is the second place that our family has moved to, never visiting before the job interview.

Household: Mike and his wife Stephanie have 3 children: Cayley ’20, Emily ’23, and Michael ’26 and their beloved hiking companion Tasmania (the devil dog).
