2026/2027 Open Positions
Preschool Teacher/Aide: SCS is looking to hire a full-time Preschool Teacher/Aide for the 26/27 academic year. Applicants must have excellent abilities to collaborate with our established Preschool team and work with children ages 3-5. We desire candidates who will take initiative in all aspects of early childhood education who can teach developmentally -appropriate lessons and help to build Christ-like character in our students. Applicants must be strong communicators with both young students and their parents. Physical requirements include being able to work on the floor with students and maintaining the stamina required to be with these active learners throughout each day. Applicants must have an AA degree in Early Childhood Ed., or an Early Childhood Ed. certificate with applicable coursework or documented work experience in Early Childhood Ed.; strong professional or collegiate references; expertise in integration of faith and learning, and strong classroom management skills. Part-time 7-12 Title I Teacher - The Title I Teacher implements effective intervention for students struggling in the areas of reading and math. Working with students 1:1, in small groups, as well as within the classroom environment with the goal of equipping students for independent, grade-level success in the mainstream classroom. The Title I teacher is, in part or whole, an employee of Kalispell School District 5 and works alongside the general education classroom teachers and the K-8 Instructional Coach and is a direct report of the Director of Learning Services. Founded in 1980, Stillwater Christian School is an independent Christian school, situated on 13 acres in Kalispell, Montana, serving 415 students preschool through 12th grade.
