Hobbies: Spending time with my family, kayaking, socializing, watching old movies & musicals.

Favorite spot on campus: The front door in the mornings, greeting students as they arrive.

Fun fact: Before teaching, I worked in Glacier National Park and also got my pilot’s license.

Household: Summer and her husband, Nicholas, have 2 children: Madeline & Ethan, a goldfish named Julie and Wesley, a handsome miniature schnauzer.
